Do I need a prescription from my doctor to be seen for physical therapy?

• If your insurance carrier is in the Highmark Company, you do not need a prescription for the first 30 days of physical therapy treatment.  Direct access to physical therapy providers was passed in the state of Pennsylvania and allows patients to come directly to physical therapy without having to go to the doctor first.

• If you have another insurance carrier, contact us regarding the need for a prescription before initiating therapy services.

What should I bring for my evaluation?

• When you come for your first visit you should bring your insurance card and prescription from your doctor for physical therapy (if needed - see above).  You should wear loose fitting clothing if able.  We have shorts here in the clinic for use.

How long will my appointment take?

• You can plan on about 1 hour for the first appointment as we perform an individualized assessment.  Subsequent visits may require more or less time and your clinician will inform you after your first treatment.

What are your business hours?

• Clinic hours are as follows:

  • Mon: 8am - 7pm

  • Tues & Thurs: 1:00pm - 8:00pm

  • Wed & Fri: 8am - 5pm

  • Sat: 8am - 12pm
